Safe mean to you?

SafeBR is a collaboration of public, private, and nonprofit leadership working, in alignment, to create a unified response to target the root cause of violent crime in our city. SafeBR will fund, support, promote, and hold accountable all individuals, initiatives, and organizations working on the front lines of this community safety effort.

Through our members and funded partners, every data-informed, community-driven initiative will focus on making Baton Rouge a safer and more secure place for all residents.

OUR PRIORITIES

Supporting what we love about our city and engaging in a broader conversation around public safety through:

  • Support existing and new strategies that have been proven effective in stopping violent crime, as well as providing individual assistance for first responders injured in the line of duty.

  • Channeling investment into evidence-based strategies that disrupt the cycle of crime and violence.

  • Serve as a hub for communication and updates for the entire East Baton Rouge system of justice as well as sharing stories of success from our collective community pernters.
